PC Gaming Headsets
PC Gaming Headsets
My gf bought me a headset and gave it to me early to use playing games on my computer.
I am having trouble getting the mic to work (according to escapechat people)
The kind she got me has a splitter to fill both audio holes on the front or back.
Is this better than a usb one?
I do like the feel of it a lot,
She gave it to me early so I could try it out and see if it worked good for me.
So far I have had trouble setting it up but I also have refused to read the instructions.
I will do that tomorrow and give you an update on them.
Re: PC Gaming Headsets
I'm no audiophile but I like USB over regular audio ports. The mic is a common problem with windows in general. It can be some goofy shit like windows mic setup through your windows 10 search bar, to selecting the proper audio output through your speaker setup. Unless you're one of those people who are super into audio, this will do fine with video games. Be warned though, if they are noise cancelling headphones, which they look like they are, you won't be able to hear when your girlfriend comes in and catches you beating your meat to my little pony porno.

Yeah, I mean, you can't really fuck up color coded plugs. It's most likely in your sound settings.
I was going to give you shit about how that's like 1/4 of your electric bill, but I'm also considering a headset I can't afford.

Re: PC Gaming Headsets
So I took back the first one.
I kept hearing lots of static coming through when nothing was playing and I couldnt figure out how to get the mic to work.
3.5 mm jacks just dont do it for me.
So anyways I picked up this at Walmart for $5 less than the first one and this one is wireless USB.
Will post an update soon.

Re: PC Gaming Headsets
These feel a lot cheaper but Imma give them a shot.
Ironically I have to have them plugged in for 3 hours to charge first.
Re: PC Gaming Headsets
Lol wireless. Stop getting trash and just get what we're suggesting. Wireless is going to have annoying as fuck latency and interference.

Re: PC Gaming Headsets
my wireless head set has no interference unless by a mesh router and its very mimnal,, latencey ya right ,,,, i was quite surprised when i got mine that i could really use it and found no issues
Re: PC Gaming Headsets
It's wireless so there's automatically latency. Even if it's a fraction of a milisecond it's still there. You'll never master rhythm games.
