Haven't used one in a while, but what they do is usually pretty legit. I remember back in the Windows XP days you pretty much HAD to use something like this if you were a gamer. I remember launching a game, tabbing out and killing the explorer process, then tabbing back in because it would save some insane amount of memory back in a time when 2gb was a LOT of ram.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it. Make a current backup image so I can reinstall just in case.

I'm of these days I'm going to stop being lazy and make a real image of my hard drive or set up Raid 0
