You ever thought to yourself, "man, I need 45k"?

Here's what you do.

Go borrow a Patek Philipe Nautilus or similar. You can even just use pics from online if you're lucky enough

Go to the seedy part of town and get it appraised for market value.

Insure it for market value via valuable personal property insurance through like Geico or Allstate

In 6 months, take a trip to Costa Rica and conveniently have it "stolen"

Call your insurance and report it stolen. Make a police report in Costa Rica. They won't do shit because the country is corrupt.

Congrats on your new windfall. Make sure not to spend it all in one place.

Tested in spring 2019.

Nice. Although finding someone that will let you borrow a 45k watch is a little hard.

Petty theft and Craigslist is still good. You have to put yourself in initial danger of getting caught though. I wouldn't sell it on Ebay because it's too easy to figure out that it's hot.
