There couldn't possibly be a good reason. It costs something stupid low like 60 cents to make a vial of insulin and should be provided for free.

The dude that discovered it refused to patent it so it could be given out cheaply, even. Now people die because they can't afford it.

I guess it's because it was somehow making it more expensive or some other absolute bullshit. The way it's worded is that health care facilities have to sell it for the price they're getting it for, so rather than re-word it so anyone selling insulin must sell it for the price they're getting it for he just completely nixed the one thing everyone can agree Trump did good on.
