Host keeps asking for my real name

Like every few months the people I rent the server from ask me for my real name, stating they need it for "bookkeeping and tax purposes". That's bullshit, right? I can't even edit the field so I always tell them I can't change it and close the support ticket, but I've sometimes wondered if I'm just making unnecessary conflict by not just giving them the info?

Yeah, there's a small chance the site might go down for a few days. I told them flat out I'm not giving them my real name and there's nothing they can do to make me. Already did a full site backup so at most a handful of posts will get lost.

Won't they need some sort of information to pay for the site or are you doing it through crypto?

I'm doing it with PayPal. In my mind that's all the info they need.

So I just noticed it's the same bitch asking for this information every time. Exactly why I won't just hand it out: I don't trust some shady porn company in the Netherlands not to be selling the info.
