Impulse bought a 'bed in a box' from the local Walmart. I don't know how good they really are, but it's a 100% improvement from the bed I found on a street corner 10 years ago.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was one of those ones you get at Salvation Army for like $40 because it's a factory reject, but when you see a king size bed for free on the street you thank God and take that shit.

Is yours the cooling memory foam? That's what mine is and by god it actually works and I don't wake up multiple times because I'm hot as fuck.

I don't think so, but they were one of the highest rated by fibro patients and in like, vet tech forums and stuff iirc (my vet tech friend saw it recommended on forums). Just super comfy overall.

What's a vet tech?

Varies a bit from place to place, but generally they do whatever the vet doesn't do themselves. They'll do exams, collect blood, stool, etc, do lab work, prep animals for surgery.

I guess an analogy would be that they're the nurses to the surgeons/doctors?

Veterinarian, not combat vet.

Just a rough job with hours on the feed, trying to get big, aggressive dogs onto exam tables and to hold still for blood draws and shit. I guess their community likes a good bed? Tho that could probably be said about just about any job that isn't a desk job or something.
