A life on hold, a story untold

Endless days wither away until a mountain becomes a pebble
And where a fire once burned, only saturnine seas remain
Silent, nebulous rumination serves only to addle
Stagnation marks Apathy’s Reign
To hope, to dream, to think, to pray
To cope, to scream, too much, too far
There’s a beauty in every word spoken
And melancholy in the raging silence
In a world so cold, there’s warmth in oblivion
Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling
Death by other means
But a life on hold is a story untold
This is my story.
And where a fire once burned, only saturnine seas remain

Stagnation marks Apathy’s Reign
To hope, to dream, to think, to pray
To cope, to scream, too much, too far
There’s a beauty in every word spoken
And melancholy in the raging silence
In a world so cold, there’s warmth in oblivion
Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling
Death by other means
But a life on hold is a story untold
