So it's 1997 and you just invited your friends over to watch R rated movies. The problem? Your parents have a vchip activated.

What do you do? Bypass it of course!

What you need:

• VCR
• Time
• Blank VHS tape

Simply schedule a recording for the R rated program in advanced. Most VCRs aren't able to record or broadcast a vchip signal so you should be Gucci.

haha ahh the old V chip. I remember on some channels they would bleep out swear words on the audio but not the captions. I used to get a kick out of turning on the captions and watching the movie with swear words as a kid.

I was pretty lucky because my parents recognized the fact there really isn't much on cable that's going to scar me for life.
