Lenovo pinout

Post by Enigma » Sun Jan 12, 2020 10:36 am

Why the fuck is everything the opposite of industry standard? I had to convert the fucking front audio connector to AAFP, which is evidently the exact same as AC'97 which it should have already been. This brought me right back to when I had to convert the damn power button and shit to be compatible with this motherboard, like in 2011 there still was no standard pinout for all of this shit. I swear to god Lenovo did the shit to fuck with people the same way Dell makes all their shit proprietary.

I remember working on old Dell computers when I was a kid. The funny part was they would put this sticker ON THE INSIDE of the case that said if this case is opened, the warranty for the computer was voided. Fucking garbage Dells.

I always hated the weird tiny cased ones where the motherboard was basically built upside down to piss me off.
