It starts. Just a few days after Trump was on TV telling everyone that there had been no deaths in the USA. Guess we will start seeing more and more deaths soon as the Chinese continue to under report their numbers.

Nice, only a matter of time before it gets to me here in Minnesota.
Rest assured, though, New Totse will remain online, as I have multiple people lined up to take it over in the event of my death.

Death isn't really an issue unless you're old, very young, or in the newest case have a heart condition which is supposed to increase the mortality rate to 10%. The Corona virus isn't reality the death rate that make;s it scary, it's the infection rate.

Fuck the infection rate though. The common cold has a MUCH higher infection rate.
Side not: Apparently the side bar live updates somehow, because the thread marked itself as unread without me refreshing the page.

We know the common cold rather well, the corona virus is a new thing that could mutate into something else. The corona virus makes people susceptible to other things like pneumonia. Combine that with all the strange shit that's coming out of China is cause for concern in my opinion.

Coronaviruses aren't new. Sars was a corona as well and we understand that well enough.

It's here and we will see more and more deaths since almost no hospitals are prepared to even test for it. I'm guessing in places that have a large population of people and homeless, namely California, Florida, and New York. The places with mild winters I think will see the worst of it since homeless people often flock to those places.
I don't know if the actual virus will be as bad as some people think, but I know people and I know people who are afraid do crazy shit.

Personally I hope it's far more deadly than anticipated. Shake things up a little.

I assume it will be. Just remember that population centers will be the hardest hit. California is a hobo heaven currently and people are literally living in street tents and shitting on the street. I wouldn't be shocked to start seeing the bodies pile up in the next few months.

Good, hopefully it takes Apric0t out and his hobbit looking ass girlfriend. I'm in a town of 500 people so I'm less than concerned.
Real talk though it'll be scary.
