I gotta say, Microsoft really did the right thing embracing the connectivity. I didn't even realize until recently that the Xbox button actually does something on Windows 10, but now that I know it's fucking nifty while PC gaming.
Honestly, at this point, why even bother with console gaming considering HTPC and other stealth methods are so easily done these days.

Yeah It's hard to beat the xbox controller if you have a windows pc. Another really good controller is the steel series stratus XL. It's a little wonky getting it connected and it runs on double As but it's awesome when its connected.

Re: Xbox One controller on Windows
welcome to fucking windows xp your fags jesus lol, ever since gta iv and before the shit has had a function for "games for windows live " and even better is to use a ps4 controller or steam controller,,, ie the track pad,,, my fav is ps3 and use the gyro for the mouse functions xD
Re: Xbox One controller on Windows
Windows XP required special drivers that people made themselves, and required modification to the controller to even use the Xbox controller.
Secondly, Games for Windows Live was a VISTA feature. Look it up.
Perhaps educate yourself before flying off the handle, as the rest of us are having a calm, friendly conversation.

Re: Xbox One controller on Windows
Do people still use 95 or so for this task though?
Re: Xbox One controller on Windows
I seriously doubt it unless it's purely for some sort of nostalgic look.
For example, I was given an old 486 with Windows 3.12 (With Networking support!) and that years version of Office, and the Powerpoint had sooooo much neat clipart that I made some pretty funny slideshow-comics out of.
TL/DR: Maybe?
