They apparently suck. All of them have bad reviews except for the current one on the market, the one I got, which already has a fucked up ring so the lid doesn't stay on right.

Luckily I found a work around that I plan on making a video about.

I thought about getting one of those but coffee really isn't my thing.

I wouldn't bother then. They're really only good for if you like coffee but either don't want to make a pot at a time, or get up a different time than your house mates and you wall want hot coffee at the same time.

For teas there's much cheaper options that taste better, and for hot chocolates and such just use a regular mix.

Why don't you take it back and get something good for a good price.

I went to meijer because the Keurig I had (which I bought from Goodwill for $8 and used for the last 9 months) had a crack in it and after coming to the sad conclusion they didn't stock the same model so I couldn't just do a switcheroo at the return counter and with the shitty state of the World I really didn't wanna go look at Walmart.
Well at meijer they had a Keurig for $110 that makes 1 cup of coffee at a fucking time.
I only need 1 fucking cup anyways but I wasn't about to pay $110 for the word Keurig to be molded into the cheap plastic contraption made by a bunch of sexually exploited children in communist china.

But then I saw this beauty which also only makes 1 fucking cup but I only needed 1 cup.
The difference was that this cheap plastic piece of crap put together by a bunch of sexually exploited children in communist china only cost me $45.

use it with pods, pads, bags, filters.

At the end of the day all coffee makers are pieces of shit that are designed cheaply in order to eventually break forcing you to buy another.

If I was a machinist I would make my own fucking coffee maker.
It would be overly elaborate looking yet still very simple and basic just made out of stainless steel and have the name Fonaplats on it.

I could sell them for $450 with a lifetime warranty warranty.

And if you really want good coffee you should focus on the actual fucking coffee.

Keurig has a lot of innovations too. They've had that data port hidden on the bottom for years now that someone needs to utilize for something.

I've thought about just setting up random areas with vending machines in heavy duty cages. Think like a rural rest stop.

Pay per use coffee would be hilarious lmao.

I don't drink many hot drinks so I have a rumble jar for cold brew and that's it. Stick the grounds in the little mesh cylinder, let it set, take it out. Easiest shit ever.

I think the best would be charging for the k-cup as well.
