Morning stretches

Just for shits I decided to start stretching in the morning, and I think it's going to be helpful for not only my chronic back and neck pain, but also for waking up, because whenever I stretch there's always a wave of instant relief and energy.

Today was day one, and a measly 5 minutes of stretching took my usual neck pain down by 80%, and my body in general feels less tired.

I stretch out on the couch for an hour every morning before work.

I stretch for 30 seconds on each stretch. Helps a lot of flexibility. It's shocking how many people can't touch their toes.

Same. I had a physical therapist tell me that 45 seconds is pretty much the most that's beneficial, and I know, right? That would drive me nuts not being able to bend if I had to.

My neck hasn't been going as numb since I started doing this, and my back has barely hurt at all. Maybe I should have stuck with the ones from physical therapy 🤷‍♀️
