Easy Bank/ATM Scam
by DEEP BLUE
Okay people. This is an easy scam, and from what I can find, I guess I came up with it, since no one else I talk to or read has heard of it. It's fool proof, easy and safe. All you need is a checking/savings account at a bank. The more money and the larger the bank, the better. Now, what you want to do is this...either disguise yourself, get a friend to make the withdrawal for you, or just watch out for the camera's at the ATM. Then make the maximum withdrawal (usually around $500.00, but sometimes lower/higher) and make it just before midnight. Wait around until just after midnight, and since it's a new day, you can make another maximum withdrawal. Congratualations; you just made $1,000.00 the easiest way possible!by DEEP BLUE
So what's the catch you're asking? I just took money out of my own account and I haven't made a dime. Well, here is the beautiful part of our banking system here in America. Wait until later that day, usually in the evening...and then call your banks hotline number. Get the lost/stolen ATM card department, report your card missing, it helps if you report your whole wallet/purse missing (stolen, lost, took a vacation...it doesn't matter) and be sincere and sound worried. If they ask if you had your PIN # written down somewhere in your wallet/purse, sound unsure but say you think you might have. They will immediatly put a lock on that card...go ahead and cut your "lost" card up, so you won't be tempted to use it again and get caught in your own lie. Now the beautiful part: They will "investigate" it...it's called a dispute when they find out that the withdrawals you said you didn't make were indeed made, and they will give you a "temporary" credit.
This means that during the investigation, they credit your account the amount that you just withdrew. The investigation part is kind of a joke, since they don't do shit and you almost always get to keep the "temporary" credit; but, if you're not real attached to that bank in the first place, once they send you your knew card (I got mine in less then 4 days), you can simply go to the ATM and withdraw the money until your balance is $0.00. Open another account at another bank and pull the same shit all over again, although you can usually get away with doing it 4 or 5 times in one year with the same bank. Piece of cake...just don't let the camera's see you...in case they actually do put forth a fraction of energy and try to actually investigate you dispute. Good luck, and don't get caught. Of course, I never told you this and I in no way encourage illegal activities of anykind whatsoever.
