Fun With Arnold

Not too long ago, I discovered the fun of an Arnold Soundboard.

I live in the small Mormon town of St. George, Utah and peope here are pretty fuckin stupid.

I first discovered the program at about 3:00am on Friday night (Saturday morning I Guess) I made a few calls to my friends cell phones and then to some 24-hour places like Denny's, This Mexican place called Alvero's and some motels, and everyone I called except for my friends thought they were talking to a real person.

At first all we were using was my computer speakers and two cordless phones, one held up to the speaker the other to my ear. At first it was kind of hard to make the calls because we were cracking up so much.

Foreigners are some of the funniest because they just get confused. Ony one or two people actually figured out it was an arnold recording.

The soundboard I downloaded was pretty limited so on saturday I collected more wavs from different websites. I began using winamp and the soundboard, so I could pick all the correct responses so it sounded real. Then I finally got a damn speakerphone from my fathers office and we could all hear it.

Then we started calling people in my brothers phone list.

We called an entire house full of drunk people and they thought it was the funniest shit. At first they thought it was someone doing the voice of arnold then they realized it was a computer. But they were still amazed that if they asked a question I had a good response. Then this dude Ryan comes over and we call his house, his dad awnsers and we go through the routine, usuall beginning phrases and we could hear him laughing and then he said he had another call and switched over, we didnt want to stick around for that so we hung up, then Ryan gave us his dads cellphone number and we called that. We could hear him laughing but then he hung up. We made some more calls and then went to sleep.

Today I recieved a phone call from Ryan and he told me that his parents called the cops and when we called the cell phone the cops were actually there. Then the cops told them that they recieved several complaints and had started a file. But the thing that I thought was wierd is I didnt talk to a single person who sounded pissed off. And now its in the local paper that a prankster was calling all over town and harrassing old people. But now I am making my own soundboard with over 50 samples. I will post it when complete so everyone can enjoy this.
