I just discovered this group a few months ago; they're an all-girl "Harajukucore" band from Tokyo. Apparently they've been working their way up the Japanese metalcore scene for around 5 years streaming and playing small clubs and such. They just started getting some US tour dates on some big festivals, and I feel like they've got a pretty good future ahead of them. I'm looking forward to seeing them this September in Kentucky. They make Babymetal look like Teletubbies on autism. I don't know what the fuck is going on in Japan but their rock scene is exploding.

I could never get over the cutesy Japanese metal. Babymetal? How am I supposed to take that shit seriously? But then again, how am I supposed to take shit like Mayhem seriously as well? Each to his own I guess.Comment
