So the last time I started up my WiiU was in March of 2016, and back then everything worked. I could play GameCube with the classic controller, Wii, Wii U, and life was fine.
Little did I know that NOW you can play GameCube directly from the WiiU menu, launch Homebrew without a dedicated launcher, connect directly to Pretendo, disable the 'Format USB?' prompt, pair pretty much any Bluetooth controller, etc.
It is basically the most slept on console for retro gaming ever when you take into account it's a GameCube, Wii, and Wii U all in one PLUS the whole VC thing.
