Sure! A robot comes out of a portal in his head and he saves the planet by deflecting a meteorite with his guitar, but it's also a sweet coming of age story.

90s had a ton of good anime. But if I had to pick one, I'd have to say Ninja Scroll followed by Devil Man closely. Maybe some Demon City Shinjuku in there as well.

EHHHHHHHHH, I never liked the animatrix so I'm biased. But most of his stuff had a style that I could recognize real quick. It was good over all.
