I actually finished this one already but forgot to make a thread about it. I always kind of liked this one because it's the first entry into the really dark arc if you don't count Goblet of Fire. A lot of the action and peak of the story takes place outside of Hogwarts for a change, and the dive into the 'Department of Mysteries' is kind of fun.
They do my boys Harry and Sirius wrong, but I suppose it's necessary to advance the plot lines further, and it features the formation of a very important anti-Death Eater group.
I'd put it in the top 7 Harry Potter books for sure.
