Land isn't something that grows or shrinks. Land is something that is or isn't. Originally, only land owners were able to vote (as far as I know), and the literalists are OK with this. But if you look at the way things are going, mega corps like black rock are buying up land and holding onto it. What does a 300k property matter to a company that has billions or trillions of dollars? I believe in 50 years, only mega corps will be able to vote. What does a few million matter to the company that has trillions at their disposal? They'll gobble up all the land by enticing a normal. person with millions which is nothing to them, and then have control over society.

TL;DR Buy land, never ever give it up.
