  • Winter Time Vacations and the Northern Lights

Considering going on another Winter trip to Silver Bay to see the northern lights, but apparently I'm not the only one because every viable weekend (based on the Moon cycles) is expensive or booked out.

Aurora Borealis!? I've seen them lights at this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country. Localized entirely in the sky. It was a long time ago I was a kid.

I've seen them 7 times now I think, while not planning on it any of those times. Just a side effect of camping in upper Michigan. I need to do it again and take my fancy camera with me.

I'm kind of bummed out that I never went, and now I have 3 weeks until the last viable trip until October.
