Your initial question "what does God want" and the phrase you previously used, "to want for" have two different meanings. Considers such phrases as "Whoever has God wants for nothing" and "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want".
Your misunderstanding of this is truly worrying. I shall pray for wisdom to come upon you.
