Try getting down to the roots of the Bible and study some Qabballa rather than the simple english version of the stories.
Here's a book that came with the Bible yet wasn't added onto the King James Version.
It is called the
The Book of Formation or
Sepher Yetzirah.

It was the basis of all Bible stories/works.
You can even try writing your own Apocrypha if you can truly master the Hebrew Qabballa and it's symbolical/esoteric Alphabet using this text.
Try checking out
Liber 777 to make further correspondences to each of the letters and names of god. It's a great system of correspondences based on the Qabballa and other "Holy" works.
One of the reasons why not many people now about this is due to the fact that in the old days Rabbi initiates weren't supposed to study things such as this until they reached their 40's when many of the Jewish "mysteries" were revealed to them. Now a days anybody can simply go online and look it up.
