Eh, you love them or you don't. To me, some of their stuff is realllly powerful. Like in Parabol/Parabola, the buildup and climax gets me every time. Wings for Marie Pts. 1 & 2 are also great, when you think about why they were written. I think everyone likes them because of one, the atmosphere their music creates, two, they're the most mainstream "prog rock/metal" band around today, and three, their live shows are said to be off the proverbial chain.
