Re: The Official "What Song is This?" thread
Hello, I am looking for a song... sound kinda contemporary... It is a female vocalist, and the only lyrics I remember are the repetition of the lyrics "by the sound of the washing machine" and I believe the chorus has "maybe someday this all will end, maybe someday this will all begin" but I don't think that is the exact wording... if anyone could help, that would be wonderful.

I searched for over 40 minutes on google using every trick I know, checked all the major lyric websites, and registered for 2 sites dedicated to helping people find the song they're looking for just so I could ask them. I found nothing, not a clue. This tells me two things: #1 it was made by a small band(small as in not well known).
#2 It was probably created recently.
It could be by a local band. If you really care that much about it you could contact the radio station and ask them.

Re: The Official "What Song is This?" thread
I'm still looking for this song, it was released around 02=03 by an "indie" band. I want to think the name of the band is Kind of Like Spitting but it isn't them, anyway the lyrics go:
Driving in a black Cadillac, painted black
That's really all I remember, can someone please help me!

Damn, you went above and beyond the call of duty; thanks, I really appreciate the effort. I phoned the radio station right after it was played, but it was a Saturday night, so no DJ was there (it's a college station, so it's frequently unmanned when no student signs up for the airtime). I called later, and the DJ said they just play songs at random from their database when the booth is empty. So they had no way of telling me what the song was, and the DJ I talked to couldn't identify the lyrics.
For now, I guess I'll just have to listen in and hope it is played again.
Thanks again.

Re: The Official "What Song is This?" thread
Anyone remember the song from the MTV commercial for Where My Dogs At?
It was like:
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho
He he he he he he he he he
Hah Hah Hahhh
WHAT IS IT?
