Angry Re: where is most of my disk space being taken up?

someways to free-up hard-drive space:
• clean-up old system restore files
• disable hybernation (because it allocates as much hard-drive space as there is RAM)
• do a disk clean-up (may i suggest ccleaner)
• delete windows update installation files
• uninstall old programs
• if you don't do much memory intensive task and you have sufficient memory you can always reduce your pagefile (to no less than 512 though)
• if you're installed SP2, delete c:\i386 (if it there)

and if you want to see what folders taking up space, just right click on the major folders
like Windows, Programs Files, My Documents & Settings and see what's taking up tooo much space
