training day

has anyone here seen the movie training day? i've been searching for a picture of denzels (alonzo's) tattoo and can't find one picture of it, if any one can post a picture of it..you know the one that say's death is certain and then under it life is not, i'd be very grateful. i'm thinking about getting it inked as a tribute to one of my favorite movies.

That movie has always perplexed me. Why, on the most important day of Denzel Washington's character's life, did he involve a white rookie cop he didn't know in all of his criminal activity?

That makes no sense to me. If he hadn't included ethan hawke, him and his crooked buddies would have robbed the drug dealer, paid the russian mob, and lived happily after.

The only people hawke could be used as a scapegoat against were the LAPD to save denzel's job, and he STILL would have been killed by the ruskies.

I love that movie, I just bought it from Amazon yesterday. The PCP scene is so fucking awesome. Sorry, but I have nothing to contribute.

I also have to add that this was one of the dumbest scenes I have seen in any movie.

Training Day is easily in my top 3 favorite movies along with Full Metal Jacket and Fight Club...
