I just watched the first season and I'm 7 episodes into the second, and that's just wrong.
It's a really really good show.
Dwight dressed up as a Sith Lord is probably one of my favorite things so far.
Kevin is probably my favorite employee.

I've honestly tried watching it, but i just can't find it funny. I suppose you could say i prefer English humour compared to American, as I'm sure with you, its the other way around.
From what i see, the US version copies a lot of things from the UK one

Re: Favorite Scene From The Office
Ricky Gervais(sp?) is a producer for the US show, and that was just the pilot, so of course there's going to be a lot of similarities.
I can't imagine there are many similarites in later episodes.

Meh.. I suppose it's just down to humour then. I will need to watch more of the US one to determine how good it is. Does the US one make you cringe a lot?

Cringe how? Cringe from being bad? No. Cringe from some of the scenes being kind of embarassing? Yes.

The pilot was the only epsiode where they produced it joke-per-joke witht he English version, they still use basic ideas for the show throughout the first and mid way throught he second season.
Still the best moment was " I hate...so much...about the way...that you choose to be."

Yes from embarrassment. Ricky Gervais was brilliant at this, and I'm not too sure Steven Carell can do it any better, which is probably the reason why i won't get into it.
Anyway, in the US version, did Steven C do the famous dance?

Re: Favorite Scene From The Office
I often am embarassed by what Steve Carell does. I don't know if he does "the" famous dance, but I do know he does dance a lot and is very impulsive.

Re: Favorite Scene From The Office
This is the famous dance.
It's just pure genius. Real embarrassment.
