It's solidly mediocre. Not worthy of the Pumpkins name in my opinion.

Even Adore and Machina I, the albums that lots of people hate, are still much better.

Agreed. I bought it today, and I wasn't really that impressed. When I heard about the Smashing Pumpkins reunion, I thought the original band was getting back together, but that was not the case, and it shows. There are a few tracks I like, but the rest all sound the same to me.

It reminds me of the Weezer releases in the early 2000s: it's like they gave up, and basically said "yeah, we're in it for the money..."

They shouldn't have released Tarantula as the first single IMO.

There are a few songs I like off the album and it may grow on me but right now I still rank it last compared to all the other Pumpkin albums.

This is so true. SP is Corgans baby.

I like it, it has a couple cool songs but nothing compared with old Smashing Pumpkins. Its kinda goofy how everyone feels the same way..
