Bands everyone seems to like except you.

It doesn't mean the band is 'overrated' but there's just certain bands that everyone seems to think are amazing except me...

- Disturbed (I don't know why, but the lead singer's voice reminds me of Jason Alexander....the fat bald guy...yeah, lol that serriously kills it for me.)

- The Smashing Pumpkins (Again, I can't stand the singer's voice, and I can't really get into those 'big hits' that everyone knows and loves.)

- The Used (Not saying they're even good enough to worry about, but honestly.... MCR is like the same thing, and everyone seems to think the Used is somehow 300 times better?)

- Taking Back Sunday (Again, I don't really hate them, but Brand New seems to be better to me.... and I can find maybe one person who agrees with me.)

- NIN (This one is opposite...I'm one of maybe three people of everyone I know who likes NIN. wtf??)

At the moment those are the ones on my mind, I'll try to think of any others...

Slayer.

They are one of the four great thrash metal bands, yet I simply cannot dig them, even when I tolerate death metal bands even, I don't like Slayer that much.

Anthrax - Although I love their work with Joey Belladonna, Spreading The Disease is a great album, their other stuff just doesn't seem as good.
Pink Floyd - They do have some fucking amazing songs, most of them just seem to bore me when I'm stoned.
Nine Inch Nails - really went downhill after Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral just annoys the living shit outta me, but everyone else claims it's their greatest work. Although Year Zero isn't too bad.
N.W.A. - to me their music seems to try and use a similar formula to the one Public Enemy used, although NWA seem to use VERY FUCKING ANNOYING SAMPLES.

I can't think of anymore at the moment, but there's plenty more in the bag.

Try listening to Hell Awaits or Reign in Blood. Most of their other material sucks. The main problem with the band is Tom Araya.. his voice isn't bad but he doesn't seem to be too good at vocal patterns. He's a pretty mediocre bassist too, his playing doesn't add anything to the music really. He's also catholic, ugh.
