A quarter of adults to face 'anti-paedophile' tests

Britain is requiring 1/4 of adults to be background checked. If they pass, they may interact with children under 16.

Those who are not checked cannot interact with children.

If you are a parent, you basically have to be background-checked to have a child.


If this doesn't lead to dysfunctional adult-child relationships, nothing will.

Also, getting back to the topic, Britain has gone to far. It is like the gov't has a copy of 1984 out, and they are making laws based upon it.

Discuss effect on society that this law will have.

Government isn't really to blame for pedophile insanity. The guilt for that rests mostly on the media and paranoid, coward parents who extrapolate the rare child molester into "OMG all my childs get raped every second I can't see them!"

Things like this are a real slippery slope, in fact GB is already sliding fast down it. It always starts with something that the overwhelming majority of the people can agree on. In this case it's going after pedo's, to absolute bottom of the barrel.
Then it becomes criminal assessments, to see who is likely to commit crimes. Then it becomes political activist assessments, to see who the activists against all this are.

Hopefully by that point a revolution will break out in Britain.
