new american counter-revolution (hippie v2.0)
yeah yeah, we all know, the 60's were some good times. the american culture was expanding their minds and bodies. it was a beautiful time to be alive, almost an american renascence. but now look at us, the american youth is too obsessed with MTV, the media has turned into the 4th wing of the government, and most people are totally unware of politics outside of CNN/FOX news. have we lost the ability to tell the government to fuck itself on an organized scale? what happened to love, peace, understand, and community? what happened to the celebrities standing for a cause instead of standing in front of the camera? where are the musicians who spoke of all the joyous things in life, instead of trying to rap/rock their way to the top of TRL?
i say we proud few start our own counter-revolution against apple, abercromibe and fitch, the governments opressing us, the media lying, coorperations fucking peoples lives over. i dont care if you flame the shit out of this thread, at least im trying to organize something important instead of insulting people behind a monitor, 90 cans of bawls, and a bag of cheetos.

Since when have people lost the ability to tell the government to fuck off?
The reason people are obsessed with Mtv and all that other garbage is because life is good. Most people have nothing to complain about.
What exactly is it that sucks about your life? Is it the nice house your parents provide you or the internet you use or the freedoms you enjoy?
You have nothing to be upset about. Go live in africa and then maybe someone will give a shit about your whining.

Re: new american counter-revolution (hippie v2.0)
Yeah, like the awesome, loving, peaceful hippie generation actually DID ANYTHING! For fucks sake, smoking pot and enjoying free love isn't 'subversive'. And all the people that believe this are just plain pop-culture vs. counter-culture dickheads that strive for being a little bit different from the average Joe, to rise above the waves of, what they call, the gray masses..
And they think they can do that by smoking pot, loving other people, disobeying rules, cheating and breaking laws. Yeah, it's so romantic, ain't it?
Hehe, just think, the counter-culture has been fighting for the past FOUR decades, hippies, punks, all that shit. FOUR FUCKING DECADES LATER, nothing is changed, nothing is beaten, nothing is won.
Haha, fuck you and your counter-revolutionary ideals damn dirty hippie. Go smoke pot with your friends and scheme about taking down The Man.

hmm, so i protest, say, the iraq war. for 7 years. nothings been done. so is my voice really heard? fuck shorting timetables BS, the voice that is "absolute retreat" is silent in the halls of congress
so thats why teenagers are termed "depressed' or have a million other disorders, pregnancy rates, and other shit that other generations never really had to deal with? lifes not that perfect, even if you live in a nice house with plenty to eat and a great job.
fuck my parents. they believe that i owe them shit for rasing me. its the same idea as the government. the people dont owe the government shit, the people are the government. wifi + laptop = free internet. i learn from the internet and use it positively because im thankful for it.
i dont have to live in a 3rd world country to complain and voice my idea of a revolution. if i dont like whats going on, i can try to change it. you dont think those "naggers" liked sitting around taking everyones bullshit? no they did something. ghandi didnt sit on his ass all day and fast for fun.

they had ideas, they tried to do a FEW things, but most of them were listeners, not thinkers. their needs to be more free-willed, opinioned thinkers this time. who cares if they used drugs to alter their minds? everyone does it, so dont blame drugs as a failure to do something, or youd be calling yourself a failure (if you do infact do drugs). i will not be catorgized as a "pop-culutre" or "counterculture" thinker. youre generalizing my opinion of how i think things are run versus how they should be.
it was a test to become more "human" agian. we are too automated and biologically enigineered to fit in and think the same, and they opened their minds and thought otherwise. rules are meant to be broken. laws are too bent towards helping the greedy, and less towards helping the helpless. laws also control too much of our freedoms and spirt. i should be able to do what i want, live where i want, eat, smoke, drink whatever i choose, and read, listen to, or watch wahtever media i like. its that fucking simple, everyone wants that. but the government is too afraid of loosing control over the only thing that they need to survivie, citizens. thats why they set unfair and harsh laws against us, hide/lie to us about their actions, and have a finger or 3 in everything we do, on a daily basis. its not for our safety, thats BS.
