I can't understand what it meant, so I searched the Internet. It's a favorite quote from the show, but I can't find the meaning behind it. Does anyone understand this?

Literally, the person is implying don't take a man holding a pickle to be a closet homosexual. Metaphorically, the person is saying sometimes things are what they seem and don't dive to deep into them...

"On a man holding a pickle" is just some random example that could be misconstrued by someone analyzing it too much for what it really means...NOTHING.

ALL this quote is trying to say is don't dive too deep into things I'm sure if you put this quote in context of the show it would be a response to someone trying to over analyze something.

And in the greatest irony of all we're doing exactly what this quote says not to do about the quote itself!!!!

So please, stop acting like this MAINSTREAM TELEVISION utterance is some sort of mysterious enigma which holds a deeper meaning. ITS NOT. It's pointless dialogue trying to get a cheap laugh of a stupid mind numbing TV show.
