Test Modes (requires at least 3 fingers, on separate hands)
I. Semi-destructive MEMORY BANK FILL with PANEL TEST:
a) From power-off state,
b) HOLD DOWN BOTH the [MAN] button and the [DOWN] arrow button.
- make sure your finger is NOT on the UP ARROW BUTTON otherwise you
WILL be re-keying all of your stored memory frequencies!
c) Turn the unit on with fingers depressing keys mentioned in [I. b], above.
d) What happens now? The correct sequence will show the LED display with
all implementations available, If not start over. Note: upon careful
examination of the led panel the " CAR# " option exists but it goes to
show you Tandy most likely uses this exact display for it's race car Mod.
e) Bank 1 and 2 will be programmed without notice to the following:

2. 42.0000 12. 475.6250 22. 29.0000

II. Very-destructive MEMORY BANK FILL, also with PANEL TEST:
a) Perform the exact steps in the above sections, With one key change:
b) depressing the [DOWN] arrow key instead of the [UP] arrow key floods all 200 channels with redundent frequencies. Why? I don't know!
c) I would not recommend this procedure unless you are about to sell.
Wired Programming Initialization sequence.
I. From the Power-Off state,
a) depress the [9] key AND the [ENT] key firmly while turning the unit ON.
b) I don't have the cable or the software so thats all folks!
c) actually one thing I noticed is IF you hit the [LIGHT] button once
IMMEDIATELY after steps [I. a] to illuminate the display AND THEN
hit say, [SCAN] or something you will get a nearly infinate light cycle.
The Light will stay on as long as you have power, or until you toggle
the [Light] button to "OFF."
