corruption of church

Isnt it weird how god moves from church to church...Every few hundred years god picks a church and it grows powerful until the people who run it become corrupt and lose sight. I went to a great church when I was young and people would come and get healed and the church prospered then the ministry became envious of each other and alot of fucked up things started happening and there is no doubt in my mind that god just moved on. Just look at the Catholic church...

It's not God that moved on, it's the illusion that was preserved by the Church fading away.

I agree with fretdemon. I grew up in a real good church that truely had the Spirit, but the pastor retired and the church became wealthy and now it's more interested in money and show than in Christ. Alot of times prosperity and wealth lure people or whole churches away from God. Yes like the Cholic church, wich was a great church until Constintine made it the official Roman religion and the church was given universal power and vast wealth. The same cycle can be seen with the Jews in the Old Testement.
