How do i become a Mason?

i was just wondering, i live in the new york are and i was looking for anyone who knows how exactly i apply for masonry. also any tips on getting into the illumnati would be great.

Alright im becoming a mason and this is what I was told by my grandfather (who is a mason). He says that you have to have 2 members of a local sect say that you are worthy (they have to get to know you really well first) of becoming a mason. Then there is a hearing and they testify that you are worthy and it is voted on and you can then be inducted to the masons. :-)

YOU have to ask to become a member, they are not allowed to ask you to join.

You can show some interest, learn some basics on the ideals of masonry, and thre great G architect will draw you closer when the proper timing comes.

Anyway it's about changing and improving yourself, so the mere fact of being interested starts some inner work and initiates a process. Then your interest is supposed to grow outwardly and you actively look for information, but that's already when things go by themselves: you meet people and the whole process is so natural it will come to pass.

About "they choose you, you don't choose", well don't listen to these kinds of fancy rumors. Knock on the door it will eventually get opened. But is it for you?

As for getting into the Masons, I believe you can just ask, but it certainly helps to be recommended by a member or two in good standing.

As long you don't become a free mason. They used to be cool but now all they do is crappy community service and would waste your time. The age of secret society for them is dead. Also as a side note check out the Georgia Guidestones and their ten commandments for a new age. The first commandment is "Maintain a world population under one half billion".
