I'm just curious, so many black people out there say that jesus is black. I have never read the bible, so i need someone to tell me some evidence that he's black.

When the first missionaries went to Africa, Jesus was, well... politically incorect. Jesus was Caucasian & Lucifer was darkskinned. Some missionary had a brainwave...inverted the two.
Even today, most African Christians have a black jesus in their churches.

He was born in the Middle East.
It's helluva more likely* that he was black than the blue-eyed blond we see in paintings.
Why the hell do you care what colour his skin was anyhow?
(*yes, assuming he existed)

most likely due to the area he was from and stuff, he was middleastern looking with dark hair and eyes, which isn't how he is often portrayed.

Jesus had semite parents, so its safe to assume he wasn't black... nor blond or light skinned anyway.

I don't know one way or the other, but i believe he was most likely isreali-looking. White, but not european white, probably really tan and bearded.

I watched this program on TLC, where they researched Jesus' background, area, climate. And they made a 3D model of what his face would "Really" look like.
He ended up having a dark tan, a large nose, and short curly brown hair.

I think it's obvious that Jesus, being a Middle-Eastern Jew, would be pretty dark to begin with. He wouldn't be at all like the paintings of the dainty little wop we've come to identify as Jesus.
He was a carpenter, so he'd likely be a big, strong guy, as there were no power tools. Also, considering that there was no sunblock back then, and he wandered in the desert for a while, I think he'd be tanned pretty dark. Plus, since he'd most likely have curly hair and no shampoo, his hair might be a bit natty and locked up.
However, he most certainly would not look sub-saharan or anything at all like most American blacks.
