this is my first post.

i asked my religion teacher "if they found DNA from Jesus and cloned him, would the clone still be the son of God", she looked at me with disgust and then continued with the lesson.

what do you guys think?

Chances are though you'll get some bullshit about how cloning goes agaisnt God or something, and blah blah blah.....

Chances are she'll avoid answering the question at all costs. Mainly because she wouldn't know the answer.

It's a cool question, but it's not the body that's the son of god but the soul within the body. The new clone would just inherit a new soul.

The 'old' problem of science vs. religion? Archeology has proven the Bible right many times in many ways. As for a lcone of Jesus, no it wouldn't be the same, because you can't clone the soul/spirit, and that is what made him God. His body was 100% normal human.
