I was considering putting this into My God, but being as the US Supreme Court gives CoS secular status, they aren't a religion, but a business organization. Has anyone dealt with clams before?
My uncle joined the Church of Scientology nine years ago. After emptying out his life savings to become a demi-god; he finally learned the basis of the cult. Apparently, Scientology is a cult based on the book Dianetics, written by the documented paranoid schizophrenic L. Ron Hubbard; and other writings of his, claiming that humans have flaws because we are infested with the souls of aliens who were killed in a nuclear holocaust by an alien overlord named Xenu. My uncle was able to bring himself to disassociating himself with the cult as of 3 years ago. He was left with practically no critical thinking ability left; the cult had eroded his thoughts and brainwashed him almost enough to destroy his attachment with reality. The cult of Scientology is dangerous as fuck and on average drains 30 thousand to 1 million dollars from each member with a scam method called the bait and switch.
Well...just wondering if anyone else has had family members fall into the Hell that is Scientology. Also, from the harrassing experiences my family still deals with from CoS; I wouldn't be surprised if one of those crazy fucks replies to this or tries sueing me for using the word Scientology in a criticism of them...those fucks are notorious for attempting to silence critics with misuse of copyright laws in frivolous suits. Well fuck them; they've already fucked up three members of my family, my reputation is worth a lot less than theirs.
