Feel free to call me insane, but I think I've already gone past reason...
While percieving life in a totally new way through breath control and mirror meditation, I came to "know" this kid who works at my job, and has been there for a while. It got to the point where every time I'd turn my head to look at him, he'd be turning to look at me at the exact same time, and same for looking away... this freaked me out at first, it was literally like looking at a walking mirror. There's never a moment I can catch him NOT being mindful, always aware, always happy... I feel kind of dumb for saying this about this kid because I felt like the kid WAS me when I was in that state of mind I guess, so it's hard to even compare... maybe he has just learned more spiritually than me, or practices meditation more, or something like that. Even when I'm looking at someone or something, I'll see him walk through the door paying attention to the same thing I was looking at... is this what it is to feel connected through mind?
Anyways, it sounds stupid since many know that in those deep states of minds words are just useless. But every time I laugh because of the people at work always blaming or praising me, and not looking at themSELVES, he'll be literally walking up to the counter laughing right with me... and I guess that's what TRUE communication is like, when no words are needed but there is some strange understanding, that doesn't need to be studied, it just happens.
It's very weird, and I guess I literally have nothing to say, I can barely talk to the kid because I guess, there just is nothing to say. Feels like Im having my first tastes of being highly aware, and... well, it's as if it was always there, and I just ignored it because of whatever self-conscious insecure thoughts that lingered in my head. Once those are gone, it's like the world literally DOES change. You stop trying to figure out the meaning of life, and it's like life just starts revealing it's nature to you...
But this has definitely helped me develop, realizing there are more people that are aware than we first think, they can be overlooked and nearly invisible to the world... I wouldn't go calling people spiritual masters just yet, since well, I'm still struggling back and forth with normal life and meditation.. trying to look within rather than pay attention to everyone and every single thing outside. Just thought I'd mention this.
When you turn and someone turns right with you, looking right at you, and is a reflection of you in a profound way that you just feel connected, it's just something that feels like nothing else... There is a lot we are blinding ourselves to, I think the mirror meditation (staring into one's own eyes) can be very beneficial for seeing yourself and others in a new light...and it's like once you start becoming aware, you just come to know other people who are aware. It feels like you're them and they're you... just like the mirror! Reality becomes a mirror of your thoughts, feelings, emotions, everything.
Not fully awakened yet, still prying at that third eye!! Wow is there a world to be explored out there...
