one of my friends who moved away talked about being a heavy bielever in the wiccan religion, she was the only one i knew up to that point who actively practiced the religion, but not long ago she moved i met another,(we are currently dateing) who also talked about the religion (she said something soon after we met because we are reading a book in school that is about all the salem stuff) and, as stated there i am also reading a book on it for school
i am an athist, and intend to remain that way but...
i did some research and after sorting through alot of....well...crap i found a few sites that were what i was looking for, as i was reading i felt a framiller feeling come on of something that i practiced a while back, at the time i looked twards buddhist bielefs in controol of onesself (when i draw from a religion i rarely go full into it, i usually study what im interested in knowing or acheiveing, which is contradictory to main buddhist bieleifs)
well what i learned to practice from minor buddhist research was i could change how i interpreted feelings such as warmth and cold, usualy could switch the two or decide which i wanted, and, the one that applies here, time altering techniques, i havent felt that, or practiced it, for a long time but i was able to read much more in a short period of time then i can remember doing in a while, and i can still feel the mindset that it brought on, despite music of a differnt nature playing and watching tv
my conclusions about life and bielefs differ greatly from the wiccan ones, and i disagreed with how most introductary basic-understanding stuff insulted/criticized christianity for various things but since it is not as extreemly organised as many of the religions (noted from contradictions and a list of variations i saw) it is (think like from that movie "dogma" if ya saw it) more of an idia then a bielef structure which basicly means (for all u who didnt see the movie) that it is easyer to change, whereas bielefs people go to war over, kill/die over and (more common) get in small arguements at dinner partys over
