I came across the website under the"Gnostic Catechism."
While it is a very interesting site and ideas(some probably think it heretic)there was a very illogical statement.It refers(apart from other things)to truly malevolent(compared to devil,which is not beyond redeeming-according to this catechism)entity that nobody knows origins off.This entity is called Yachtanabas.
My logic rebels not because this entity was referred to,but that nobody is able to say where this entity fits in Gnostic(or any)cosmology.
The author of this site knows everything about original creator out of whom everything came from and other deities such as Sophia,Holy Spirit and Jesus.That is a truly incredible knowledge if you accept this cosmology.
On the other hand,if you do have this knowledge regarding the beginning of everything,why you do not know the origin of this entity-Yachtanabas-yet you know its existence and potential malevolent actions?
In other words:If you know the "absolute",why you do not know part of absolute.
I invite anybody to access this website(The Gnostic Catechism)and comment on this particular anachronism(or on anything on this site.)
