We are part of an eternal being, everything in this life is but a drop in the ocean, when you die you will join that being and become "The One" which is "The White Light" at the end of the tunnel, the universe is a manifestation of "The One" or Us when we are whole. We are tiny fragments of "The One's" consciousness, our brains give us identity/individuality in this world, and "The One" lives vicariously through us.
