By the way, the_rabbi often normal muslims do step up and put down the terrorists (thats what im doing right now), but i still dont think its often enouph, given the shit they do to the face of our religion. It could be they are scared, maybey cant be fucked, maybey some people agree, i dunno, but at least in australia here, about once amonth i turn on the tv and hear the iraqi extremists getting slapped with our koran, by muslims. theyre rare, i guess so im not surprised you havent seen em. Personally whenever i go to the mosque (similar to a church) the imam (priest) basically brings up another section of the koran, and every few times i go, the subject of the day is how what is that iraqi muslims (the ones blowing stuff up) are not doing the right thing.
By the way, some notes about the religion: ny suicide bombings gets you in hell, according to the koran. So does forcing anyone to convert, and so does starting a war with another religion over religious grounds. So does hurting oher muslims. Infact if a christian comes into our house looking for shelter and we turn them away because theyre christian... hey we go to hell.
Thats just proof that the terrorists and extremists are NOT following islamic teachings, but twisting them into a pile of excuses to cover their asses with so they can convince others (and themselves) that theyre doing the right thing.
