Armageddon (sp?)

I was talking to my girlfriend and she was saying armageddon (sp?) was mentioned by her pastor in church today, keep in mind she's religious and i'm not. But it's really upsetting her.

She's asked me to go to church with her tonight, I dont know what to think. I'm going to go though, because it seems the right thing to do. But is there anything I can really do? Other than going with her?

Like I said, i'm not religious. I dont believe in life after death, but she does. She's so upset that shes going to lose me one day and says stuff like "I really dont want you to go to hell".

She's genuinely scared about all of this, i'm not, because I dont believe in it, but I can't just dismiss it, can I? What should I do?

Would this be better suited in Sex and Affection? Or is it appropriate here?

well the way i see it there are two options the first would be to go along with her to church and just filter out what the people say, hell even pretend to convert itd make her happier about your relationship, or you could break up with her now becuase ive dealt with relationships like what you described before and they always fail

I would go to church.

What I like to do, is sit in the back, and take notes. I mean, I like to learn about what different religions teach their followers, even though I don't believe it. How else are you supposed to be able to have a good debate with them?

hehe, yeah.

I dont think I should break up with her, because she really means so much to me. I'm actually researching a bit about religions etc. People in my college are often talking/whinging about religion.

Ironically I go to a youth group, purely for social reasons, but I couldn't help but to notice the extra wierdness of people lately, regarding religion.
