And I have no idea what to expect, we plan to get married in a year or earlier. She told me that before we get married we have to go to premarital counseling at her church.

What kind of Christian is she?

If she's Catholic, which is kind of what it sounds like to me, there's a whole sixth month prep thing. I'm not really sure what it involves since I'm not married.

But when my sister went through it, she said it was a bunch of stupid stuff like compatibility gauging crap, priests telling you not to get abortions or use birth control, and other things celebate men should really have little experience with.
