I know a lot of muslims that are less conservative because they are born here, and party more and dress like americans(many girls don't wear the hajib and all that other stuff) and are chill people. I've also worked with pakistani immigrants that tended to dislike americans and our values. They would say "white people this" and "america sucks because of that" I guess they didn't mind sharing this with me because I'm not white thus they assumed I'm on their side. I think in another generation the americanized muslims will be more apathetic towards islam, as long as we don't make the mistakes the europeans did. I don't see any riots happening like in France, except maybe in bigot areas. But where I live Americanized muslims are well received and immigrant muslims stick to themselves and smell bad.
