So I'm buying a copy of the Qur'an

I have been watching a lot of shows on TV about the Isamic faith and it seems real intersting and almost one of the only true faiths unlike Christanity. This is what really pushed me away from chirstianity. So I'm ordering a copy of the Qur'an off of Amazon tonight when I get back from work. Its the fully arabic version with a tranlated version by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. It is considered to be the best English version out there.

Im not sure if I want to join the Islamic faith, but it does seem intersting and will be a good read. It will also provide an insite into the culture so I can get away to what the American culture thinks and teachs about it.

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some insite on the faith from person knowlege.

Why are you buying it? I got mine for free off the internet. The religion isn't bad, it's just that there are so many extremists in it that it gives the whole religion a bad name.

It's a good religion. I don't think I've read the Qu'ran in its entirety, but I've had several classes discussing Islam. Good stuff.
