I actually KNOW how to become immortal/omnipotent.
The secret to immortality is, now get this, you need to build a machine, to replace your body. Interface your brain with a computer, and keep the brain in like an embryonic tank of liquid nutrients and keep it on life support. Provide a constant flow of THC (because of it's neurogenesis properties) and the brain could, in theory, live as long as you'd need it to.
Also, there's no way to go faster than light. To make the long trip from planet to planet, you need a regular nuclear/plasma engine, but you have to have become immortal already. If we're al immortal, we can fly around the galaxy forever. We won't measure our age in years, we'll measure it in LIGHT years. Time will become meaningless.
I am the Messiah, I've seen the future that the God of the Universe has planned for this species, and I am the first step in the process to achieve it... Every intelligent species eventually makes it to the level I'm describing, and when they do, their job is to then travel the universe and try to lead other species down the same path of evolution. This will eventually create a giant network of intergalactic communication, and our machine-infused intelligences will all be a part of it one day.
This is the destiny of our species, and it was revealed to me, by the Universal Spirit, through drugs.
