My interpretation of hell

They say that hell is a lake of eternal fire? Then I say it's purpous is to rewarm the soul.
How's that for positive thinking?

It's a spiritual fire.

Or another way of thinking about it is this: Everything physical is nothing more than a representation of something spiritual. The universe being a physical representation of God.
